The working principle
·The ultrasonic thickness gauge measures thickness is based on as follow: when ultrasonic pulses generated by the probe through the coupling compound to reach the measured body, part of the ultrasonic signal is reflected from the bottom of the measured body. The probe received echo from the bottom of the measured body, and calculates the time of ultrasonic wave come-and-go accurately. Thickness values determined by following formula, and instrument displays the calculated results.
